General Questions

Where will the kingdom of God be?

The bible clearly shows that the kingdom of God will be established here on earth! It is recorded in the book of Revelation 5:9-10

"...for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God, from every tribe and language...you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth." Yahshua confirmed this while teaching the beatitudes on the mountain. He said "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" Mathew 5:5.

Does the bible teach that believers will go to heaven?
NO
Will the saints be secretly taken away?

NO

The scriptures indicate very well that the second coming of messiah will not be in secret. Instead, it will be evident to everyone as recorded in Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him..." Yahshua confirmed this through the words in Mathew 24:27 "As the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

What does the bible say about rapture?

The bible does not support the idea of rapture in the church at the second coming of messiah.

Should we receive new names after baptism?

NO

As it has already been explained above, baptism is not about giving new names to believers. When Phillip met the Ethiopian eunuch and baptized him, he was not given a new name!

"And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Phillip away, and the eunuch saw him no more..." Note that he was still called 'the eunuch' even after baptism. This clearly shows that giving of new names after baptism was not practiced among the apostles.

The only time when believers will be given new names is during kingdom of Yahshua, when he comes the second time to reign on earth as recorded in Revelation 2:17 "To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it."

Are children supposed to be baptized?

NO

One of the requirements for baptism is repentance of sins, "Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and rest of the apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?' And Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized everyone of you..." Acts 2:37-38.

Children do not know how to repent and therefore they do not meet the requirement for baptism. Instead, laying of hands is done to children to bless them as Yahshua did. "Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying hands on them." Mark 10:15-16.

What is the true form of baptism advocated in the bible?

There are many people who teach different ways to execute baptism. However, the scriptures explain very well that baptism should be through immersion.

A person must be born of water and Spirit (John 3:5) so as to enter the kingdom of God. In Romans 6:4, Apostle Paul associated the act of baptism to death, whereby a person is buried in the waters and then when he rises from the water, he is born out of the water to become a new creation.

"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that just as Messiah was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."

Should the gentiles learn the true gospel from somewhere else apart from Jerusalem?

NO. According to Zechariah 8: 23, it is written "Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."

Yahshua affirmed this while talking to the Samaritan woman in John 4: 22. "...You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews."

In addition, when Apostle Paul was talking about the Jews, he referred to them as the guide to the blind (in this case referring to the gentiles who are in the dark as far as the word of God is concerned...Isaiah 60:1-2) as recorded in Romans 2:19 "...you yourself are a guide to the blind, and a light to those who are in darkness, an instructor to the foolish..."

What does the bible say about the source of true Gospel? Has the bible specified where the true gospel should come from?

YES, the bible specifies the place where all nations should go to learn the ways of the Lord. According to Isaiah 2:2-3 "It shall come to pass that in the latter days, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills, and all the nations shall flow to it, and many peoples shall come and say: Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord...for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem."

Did the apostles keep the Sabbath during the early church period?

YES. The bible shows clearly that it was the custom of the apostles to keep the Sabbath. It is recorded in Acts 17: 2 "And Paul went in, as was his custom, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the scriptures."

Also in Acts 13: 42, and verse 44, it is written, "As they went out, the people begged that these things might be told them the next Sabbath....the next Sabbath, almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord."

Members of the early church were doing their duty of discipleship, to follow after the steps of Yahshua, who was their teacher. Paul told the church at Corinth to emulate him just as he imitates the messiah.

Did Yahshua keep the Sabbath?

YES. It was his custom to go to the synagogue on the Sabbath day as recorded in Luke 4: 16. "And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read.

So, where is Abraham, Isaac, David and the rest of other patriarchs who died long time ago?

According to John 3:13, Yahshua confirmed that no one has ever gone to heaven except the one who came from there, who is the Son of Man. "No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven, the Son of Man."

Also, according to Daniel 12: 2, all the dead are lying in the dust of the earth, waiting for the first and second resurrection. "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

Do people go to heaven to be with the Lord after death?

NO. According to Ecclesiastes 3: 16-21, the breath of life goes back to God and the body lies in the dust because it came from the dust!

"...for what happens to the children of man and what happens to the beasts is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and man has no advantage over the beasts, for all is vanity. All go to one place, all are from the dust and to dust all return."

Also Genesis 3:19 confirms this, "By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust and to dust you shall return."

What is sin? And who is a sinner?

Sin is the transgression of the law as explained in 1 John 3:4. The law referred to here is the 10 commandments given to man by God (Exodus 20:1-17). Therefore, anyone who breaks one or all of the ten commandments of God is a sinner.

How can a person be justified from sin?

According to Romans 4:25, John 3:16-18 and 1 Cor. 6:11, Justification from sin is only possible by believing in Yahshua, the son of God, for the remission of sins. Exterminate.
