According to 1Timothy 3:15, the Church of God 7th day is a pillar and buttress of truth. With this realization, the ministry of doctrine was established so that it can continue to emphasize and advocate for the unadulterated truth of the gospel from Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:2), which was kept by the prophets and apostles (Ephesians 2:20).

It ensures that believers are continually nourished with the spiritual food. Apostle Paul had warned through his various epistles that people will run away from the true gospel and start to follow false doctrines (1 Timothy 4:1). Through this ministry, members are taught and encouraged to uphold biblical doctrines and advised to refrain from any kind of false/unbiblical teachings. It is currently headed by Pastor Kabuga Kimotho.
